After the 2023 release of Tantale’s studio record ‘Where Nothing Ends’, of connections that persist and stories that remain unfinished, what has been categorised as a blend of rock, groove and atmospheric textures, the four-piece band never move in a straight line, returning to more acoustic roots with (working title) ‘The All About’.
Capturing a space in between reflection and absurdity, making sharp observation and exploring modern living and inherent contradictions, bearing defiance to AI, the tracks are curated to bring a nostalgic feel, stripping back to a more low key and minimalist production.
Made of garden paths, horoscopes, shopping lists and unwritten social contracts, Tantale try to find meaning in a world that feels increasingly fragmented, noisy and uncertain.
Finding humour in the present, discovering what hides in the ordinary. Philosophical and restless the Guernsey band continues to evolve while remaining unmistakably and unapologetically Tantale.
