Monk are an instrumental funk band formed in Guernsey in 2023. The current line-up features Sam Orchard on Trumpet and Dean Winsall on Tenor Sax, whilst the rhythm section is made up of Sam McKerrell on Guitar, Pip Orchard on Bass and Darran James on Drums. Playing music by the JBs, Maceo Parker, and many other funky artist, they assure us that everything they do is ‘gonna be funky’.
